Rested and relaxed
Jun 22nd
Woaa.. I must have slept over 23 hours in the last 2 days  It’s been really busy at work but right now the biggest things are dealt with and everything is up & running, I think
There of course are a few items that still need to be addressed but nothing too major. At work we/I are also busy with signing up for the Microsoft Certified Partner program. We currently are a Registered Member and well that’s a start. Of course, it still is a work in progress
Which reminds me, I still have a few things to do on my own (which I did in the mean time while I was typing this post)
Since my (work)notebook had died on me I was given a new one that I could use in the ‘mean time’. I must admit it’s a gem. Core2 Duo, WiFi, Bluetooth, DVD-burner – the whole works. Wikid stuff :)
I also borrowed a book of a good friend so that I may pick up my reading again ;) Great book – called The street lawyer. I just started reading it, and so far I am enjoying it.
That’s it for now I guess… Take care all!
What a week
Jun 16th
Well, these are the last 2 days of my 2 week vacation. And when I look back I think I can say it was a busy week. Starting from Tuesday 7PM upto Friday I have worked every single day. So not much of a holiday right? But alas, it had to be done – and in a way it was a really good experience.
For the next week I intend to do and get a lot of things done at work. A lot of ‘small’ projects but important nonetheless. I look forward to getting it all done.
On a personal note; this week I attached my old scanner and printer only to find that the printer now no longer works anymore. So I ordered a new one – a laserjet (HP 1018 mind you) and it works like a charm. It’s quiet and pretty fast. I also have received my new webcam (Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000) which apart from having to download a new version of the software from the Microsoft site, has been a breeze to work with. The quality of the images it takes are pretty good. I also replaced (finally!) the DVD-burner for a new one. And this one works like a charm (NEC 7176S) It’s a SATA150 model so that’s a wrap for the IDE-age!
Apart from that I better run now, I still need to install all of the software on my work notebook so I better get to it!
Catch you all laters!
Owh… crap…

Yes, I am downloading it as we speak and will install it right away!
Another week flies by
Jun 8th
We are now a week into my 2 week holiday, and boy did it fly past. However, I am enjoying every second of it. I managed to get quite a few things done and sorted, though I still have enough to do. But hey, nothing too crazy or something that can’t get done.
Having moved here I must also admit that I am feeling a lot better about myself and just in general. I think, no I know that it is and was a good decision to move here. I do miss some of the people I have met in Hilversum and became friends with – but most of them I can still talk to via MSN. Or, like I did yesterday – simply go over to Hilversum and meet up with them :D It was fun seeing them all again.
Other then that I just ordered a new DVD/CD-burner to replace the current one, 2 sticks of 1 GB DDR400 to upgrade from 1 GB to 2 GB as Windows Vista really munches away the memory. Along with the other programs I am running  I also expect to receive the new webcam at that time so fun times all over.
Seeing as how I will have to open up my computer-case I plan to do some general maintenance on it as well. You know, tidy up some of the cables and stuff. I also found out my printer didn’t really survive the move so I will be in the market for a replacement printer. Oh well.
Anyways, I am off. Talk to you lot laters!
Coming live from Almere!
Jun 5th
Woohoo! The move went without a hitch and I am all settled in now. Apart from a few last things I still need to unbox I am done unpacking! I also managed to get things sorted with my old room, so that’s completely dealt with as well.
I also had the extreme luck / pleasure to pick up an unused bicycle from a good friend of mine  So that’s another good deal. Both rifridgerators are also dealt with… The washing-machine is here with me ;) So euhm – it’s all sorted.
Now I just need to sign up with the local doctor, and a 2nd bicycle (that I can use in Hilversum) and I am completely set. Coolies!
Other then that, well… I am doing and feeling great :) And enjoying my 2 weeks off!
