… Ready to rock!

Well, this is my last post from Windows XP. I hope to return while running Windows Vista. And yes it’s legit :-)
So… wish me luck!
PS:
If you are going to upgrade your Windows just like me, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE run the Upgrade Advisor so you at least know in advance which programs will and which won’t work.
To run the Upgrade Advisor, simply pop the Windows Vista DVD in your computer (any version of Vista will do) and click on “Check Compatibility online”.
Download and run the program, and presto! Your own custom report advising you whether Vista will run and which programs, drivers etc. won’t work or should be upgraded.
Well, I am off to install Windows Vista :)

Now that that’s settled – I have been looking for an elusive file called 10DE01E0.PCR for quite some time. Never having found it, I did find some information as to what the file should contain. Now please note that this is by no means my work or complete – but it’s a start.
If you do NOT know what this is, or have never heard of WPCREdit I strongly discourage you to use, or attempt to use it – as per disclaimer above you accept responsibility; thus clearing me of any responsibility.
