Well, as some of you may have noticed - there is a vertical sidebar at the bottom of this page. However, if you check this site with Mozilla 3.0 (aka Gran Paradiso) you will notice it has NO vertical sidebar.
Yes I have checked my site in the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 7 (Windows XP SP2 based)
- Internet Explorer 7 (Windows Vista based)
- Opera 9.10
- Gran Paradiso 3.0a1 (Firefox 3.0)
Annoying part is that only the last 2 render my website correctly
I hope to find out what it is that ‘breaks’ the rendering in Internet Explorer 7.
Asides that - soon I will be activating the Googlestats, site-monitoring etc. on this site as well. Plus, submit it to McAfee Siteadvisor for review (so visiting my site will give you a nice green link
just as www.planetapra.com does now)
Plus I hope to offer a few nice things/services in the future, but more on that later
Personal stuff
On a more personal note I am really tired at the moment. But content. We are going towards Christmas - that’s good. I hope to use the extra time to relax and try and catch up on my study. In addition to that I hope to spend some time on my site(s) again. And some gaming
The good news also is that my order from MyCom - with the computerparts has been cleared so it should be delivered sometime next week! Yeah! And Microsoft was nice enough to give me a present; a full one year subscription of Windows Live Onecare. It pays to beta-test
Geeky stuff
In regards to beta’s I must give a thumbs down to the Trend Micro PC Cilin (2007) beta at the moment. The program TM-proxy that hooks into Internet Explorer seems to crash ever so often effectively blocking ALL internetbrowsing (when using that browser, Opera etc. still work) Not good boys… But hey it’s a beta so it should be fixed before it hits RTM… I hope
I also got an invitation from VMWare to test out a (beta)product of theirs which I will take up on. And of course good ol’ Microsoft - not to be outdone - has sent me a couple of invites as well. Good times
The list of beta’s I have been on seems to be growing to be quite impressive
Well, in advance - or in case I don’t post here for the next few days:
