Well, these are the last 2 days of my 2 week vacation. And when I look back I think I can say it was a busy week. Starting from Tuesday 7PM upto Friday I have worked every single day. So not much of a holiday right? But alas, it had to be done - and in a way it was a really good experience.
For the next week I intend to do and get a lot of things done at work. A lot of ’small’ projects but important nonetheless. I look forward to getting it all done.
On a personal note; this week I attached my old scanner and printer only to find that the printer now no longer works anymore. So I ordered a new one - a laserjet (HP 1018 mind you) and it works like a charm. It’s quiet and pretty fast. I also have received my new webcam (Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000) which apart from having to download a new version of the software from the Microsoft site, has been a breeze to work with. The quality of the images it takes are pretty good. I also replaced (finally!) the DVD-burner for a new one. And this one works like a charm (NEC 7176S) It’s a SATA150 model so that’s a wrap for the IDE-age!
Apart from that I better run now, I still need to install all of the software on my work notebook so I better get to it!
